Paris is a Department store based in Chile and they were my main client from 2011 to 2014. My first brief was to redesign their Womenswear Department: they wanted to be ‘The Destination Department Store’,and to be known for service, fashion and style. With a growing Chilean middle class now increasingly aware of global brands such as Topshop and Zara, elevation of the Paris brand had become imperative. A combination of fashion editing, the introduction of new brands and a more exciting shopping experience differentiates Paris from competitors.

Following the success of their relaunched women’s fashion offer in 2012, Paris appointed us to redesign the children’s department for a new store opening in Santiago. The brief was to take what was an uninspiring space and turn it into a modern, best-in-class department. The aim was to create an urban, playful and interactive space that engages not only children but parents too.
The concept was inspired by a kids fun fair. We played with large scale both in architectural and graphic elements.

Opposite, one of many Paris' sub-brands, felt they needed to refresh their identity and brand image in order to appeal to a young and vibrant audience. We were appointed to re-design their identity and interiors in their concession within the Paris Department store based in Santiago. We took a pop-up, "distressed" approach, created a fresh brand identity, paired with mix media illustrations and engaging tone of voice.

Viaressa is Paris' best selling womenswear sub-brand. We were appointed to refresh their brand identity and brand palette. It's a brand aimed at professional women aged between 25-45 years old. We've developed a friendly and sophisticated logo mark and logotype that can be applied together or independently.

Roxlin’s briefs was to create a confident store environment concept that reflects its brand personality in Xi’an in September 2013. We created a fresh, new “deconstructed Manhattan loft” concept, taking cues from warehouse and loft spaces in New York to reflect the roots of Roxlin’s company founders. The new store is bright and predominately white across a variety of contrasting materials. Raw finishes are combined with metallic, polished surfaces and mirrors to communicate the brands youthful appeal and edgy aspirations.
I created a new marque to support the logotype, which we redrew and refined. A new freedom has been found in the logo’s beacon-like use as an exterior neon sign. This, together with an unconventional shopfront, draws the customers in via two glazed screens that blur the boundaries between the mall and the store. Further neon signage, brand messaging and department lightboxes distinguish the different departments and help to navigate customers around the store.
Zippy is a portuguese kidswear brand that appointed Dalziel and Pow to refresh their comms and interiors in order to help them grow in an international market (they have stores across the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas).
We've worked alongside the client to build a strong brand philosophy aimed at both children and parents. Our concept "pockets of fun' amuses young visitors with an interactive sound board and a machine at the cash register that prints out a ‘fun’ receipt, so kids feel included in the buying experience.

House of Rush is a hair styling concept store under the umbrella brand L'oreal in London’s Piccadilly. I've worked alongside a team of interior designers to define the brand identity and storytelling of this beauty backstage environment. Customers are encouraged to pick up the products and interact with them, take a styling tutorial or just sit at the bar and chat with the stylists.

Inspired by the traditional British pub, The Lion & Antelope is a bar/bistro in the heart of Manchester Airport’s Terminal 3. While working at Twelve Studio I've worked alongside a team of interior designers to develop a concept that would mimic a traditional british pub: we created the name, branding and environment concept for this welcoming restaurant.

John Bell & Croyden is a premium health, beauty and wellbeing store that offers great value and a personable service. It has traditional british roots, having been assigned with a Royal Warrant. They've appointed Twelve to refresh their brand identity and comms (signage, tone of voice, storytelling, etc) keeping their brand values. Our aim was to develop a concept between modern cutting edge pharmacy and classic British institution.

Primark Amsterdam was a project I've develop as the lead graphic designer while working for HMKM in London. The brief called for a concept which could meet the needs of a modern fashion retailer, set within an architectural framework that reflected Amsterdam’s unique character. The city’s enduringly open, tolerant attitude - summed up in the Dutch term gezellig - led to the idea of interpreting the space as an ‘Open House’. The store’s interior and graphic languages are closely intertwined throughout, from the giant fret-cut city map which anchors the ground floor trend space to the illustrated wall panels in traditional Dutch shades which line the womenswear floors. The result is a store which celebrates context through a unique architectural language which respects its location, whilst staying true to the demands of a fast-paced 21st century fashion retailer.

Nomad Goods is my current project. It works as my design studio, opened to the public and offering a selection of sustainable lifestyle products handmade by independent artisans from different places of the world, speciality coffee roasted in Lisbon, wellbeing, creative and craft related events and workshops.
The project was all designed by me, from the furniture, signage, branding to its social media presence.
Rebel Rebel is an independent natural wines shop. They do wine pourings in collaboration with other independent businesses, such as pop-up restaurants, launch boutique events evenings, etc. Recently they approached me to design the concept for their wine store + tasting room based in Lisbon. Being an all natural wines company and an independent small owned business, I’ve teamed up with suppliers that use traditional hand-crafted working technics and local materials, to deliver a project as sustainable as possible.
Oasa is a community focused platform for building and researching sustainable ways of living and traveling together. They came to me to help them explain their process in an effective and human manner. I’ve came up with a set of illustration characters and illustrated infographics and a variety of situations that help convey the way they operate. You can see them here
